- 1976 – 1986 Studies in Law
- 1986 – 2018 Journalist at the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung
- 2018 – 2021 Trained at the Munich Academy of Painting. Student of Gerd Scheuerer.
- 2020 – 2024 Trained at the Vienna School of Photography Shootcamp
- 2024 – present Self-employed AI Artist
- Member of the Visual Artist Association, London
- Member of the AI Cinematic Films Guild, Los Angeles
- Exhibitions in Paris, Venice, Amsterdam, New York and Dubai (selection)
The Fourth Reduction
Albert Schaeffer stands for the fourth and most radical stage of the genealogy of leaving behind: the reduction of the author. Kandinsky, Malevich and Mondrian detached the image from the object. Rothko, Newman and Klein dissolved form. LeWitt, Kosuth and Weiner declared the idea the work. Albert Schaeffer dissolved the author himself — and thereby created the space for NOUS.
